Field Leadership – Supervise, mentor, and support HVAC technicians in the field to ensure high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and outstanding customer service.
Job Site Oversight – Manage residential HVAC service and installation projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget, aligned with company standards.
Technical Support – Provide advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting support for complex HVAC issues on-site.
Team Development – Onboard and train new technicians, and provide continuous coaching to elevate skillsets and performance.
Quality Assurance – Conduct job audits and inspections to verify work quality, compliance with safety protocols, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Experience – Serve as the point of contact for escalated customer concerns; maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s reputation.
Scheduling Coordination – Partner with dispatch, service managers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records of jobs, technician performance, service notes, and evaluations.
Safety Compliance – Promote and enforce OSHA standards and internal safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Service Software – Utilize ServiceTitan (or equivalent platform) to monitor job progress, technician metrics, and field documentation.
Experience – 5+ years in residential HVAC service with 1–2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or lead technician role.
Technical Skills – Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, diagnostics, and industry best practices.
Certifications – EPA Type II or Universal required; NATE certification preferred.
Leadership – Ability to effectively train, motivate, and manage field technicians in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-Focused – Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Physical Ability – Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and working on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces and various weather conditions.
Licensing – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
